We offer a loving and secure environment in which your children can learn and experience a wide variety of activities in a happy and fun atmosphere. 

Our fully trained staff are carefully chosen for their dedication and flair with young children. At Toybox we work towards stimulating and stretching each child's imagination and developing their individual, true potential.

ALL staff are First Aid Trained and hold a current Child Protection Certificate. These 2 training sessions are regularly updates. Our staff have childcare qualifications ranging from NVQ Level 2 to degrees at Level 6. Many staff are qualified in specific areas too such as Special Educational Need's Care, Child Development, Sign Language and Creative Play. Everyone here has a current DBS check and comprehensive references are sought prior to employment.

We adhere to the Ofsted child/staff ratios which are as follows:

• 0 to 2 years old = 1:3

• 2 to 3 years old = 1:4

• 3 to 5 years old = 1:8

Ofsted ask for a ratio of 1:8 for our older children. We feel that on a day to day basis and especially in the event of an emergency, 1 member of staff to every 8 children is quite high, so where possible, we run on a ratio of 1:6 for safety.
